How to set up a form for responders in South Africa?

Published:  05/12/2024
Depending on the responding bank and their internal system requirements, banks require auditors to setup the various forms in different ways. A bank may require a certain form type to be setup as a separate form per account/reference number; whilst other banks may require the same form type to be setup as a single form, using any main account number (Note: Where a single form is required, the bank will provide all product information on this form relating to the form type).

  Answer:

NB: The ZA-Liability form should only be sent for legitimate loan accounts and not for accounts with an overdraft, as overdraft information is completed on the ZA-Asset form. Auditors do not need to send both ZA-Asset and ZA-Liability forms for the same account.
