FAQ

Who is an authorised signer?

Published:  20/07/2023

  Answer:

An authorised signer is the person that has authorisation to sign legal documents related to the account on behalf of the client. This person will be classified as a bank mandated signer on the bank's records. The auditor must ensure the correct authorised signer details are on Confirmation for approval to be received prior to initiating a request.

If approval is received from an incorrect signer, the bank will deny the request.
