What is a lead auditor?

Published:  20/07/2023

  Answer:

The lead auditor is the user that can create client profiles, setup accounts, request authorisation, initiate confirmations, view, print, and download client activity on the Confirmation system. A lead auditor is a user type that is allocated to a client profile. Only one person within an audit firm can be assigned to a client profile as the lead auditor. The user that creates a new client profile will automatically be allocated to the client as the lead auditor.

From a client profile perspective, the lead auditor has the most rights on Confirmation and can assign shared auditor rights to any registered users in their firm for the client profile.

Shared Auditors are users that can view, print, and download client activity, but cannot setup accounts or initiateĀ confirmations on client profiles the user has been given access to.
A lead auditor or firm administrator can assign shared auditor rights to any registered users in their firm for the client profile.
