How to import the planning documents from another audit file.
Instructions:
The following describes the steps required to import planning documents from another audit file.
- In the document manager, go to Firm template and set up folder.

- Open the document 10.10.02 – Firm Settings.
- Select the Import data tab.

- The Import data from another file dialog will appear.
- Select the items you would like to import data from

- Click on the Browse button and select the Caseware file containing the data you would like to import.
- The file type should be Caseware Compressed file or Caseware File (if uncompressed)

- Once the Caseware file is selected click Open
- A warning will appear prompting you to confirm that the files you are importing are from the same version as your current file.

- The Import wizard screen will appear indicating that the information is being imported.
- Once the import is complete, the Import Data dialog will appear indicating that you have successfully imported your data.

Ensure to open ALL documents you have imported data for to ensure that your engagement file is refreshed with the latest imported information.
