What is Probe Audit Premium+ ?

Probe MMX together with all the related add-ons for Premium, Probe IFRS and Probe IFRS for SME recognition and measurements will now be sold as one bundle called Probe Audit Premium+. This brand new bundle will give you peace of mind that you have everything that you need to meet the relevant standards and regulatory environment.

In 2010 Probe MMX was developed to meet the requirements of ISA’s, the Independent Regulatory Board for Auditors (IRBA) as well as other specific South African requirements.

The Probe IFRS and Probe IFRS for SME recognition and measurement add-ons for Probe MMX was developed over the last five years to assist you with financial framework procedures. As these frameworks became more sophisticated over the years we wanted to provide firms with these detailed procedures in their audit programs eliminating the need for firms to create and maintain this content on their own.

Our Premium add-on was developed to assist you with added efficiencies to make the audit easier and to streamline areas of the audit for example:

Instructions with easy references to relevant ISA’s
Caseware Risk Space that assists with documenting risks, controls and management letter points
Extended work program conclusions
Automated report to management
Manager planning and finalisation checklists
Automated evaluation of misstatements
Qualifying questions and considerations to guide you in the formulation of the appropriate audit opinion
A partner sign off document that provides a summary of all the risks recorded in the file

With compliance being one of the cornerstones in our assurance products we go through the IRBA’s inspections report on a yearly basis when it is released to see where we can make compliance easier and this year was no exception.

During our review and consultations with the IRBA, it became apparent that file inspection findings are repeated and the profession get similar things wrong every year and it is time to drastically look at the way we perform audits.

As we evolve and interpretations of standards change, we have found that the recent changes in the regulatory landscape have transformed minimum requirements for audit’s resulting in much more stringent requirements to meet the standard’s requirements as well as the regulatory requirements.
