Objective
The objective of this document is to assist you in preparing the audit budget at planning stage and subsequently comparing it to actual results.
Document placement
Document 10.40 – Time budget can be found in the Pre-engagement planning folder in the Caseware document manager.

Document content
This document is designed to be a worksheet type document with space for recording the planned and actual time spent on the audit sections, for each team member.
Before completing this document, you must set up users in Caseware.
This is done in Protection Setup.
Refer to the guidance in Collaboration – Set protection.

After completing the input fields the difference between planned and actual cost is automatically calculated and can be used for further analysis.
