How to create a new file for your firm template?


  Answer:

  1. In Windows file explorer go to your Caseware directory. Usually C:\Program Files (x86)\Caseware\Template\ 

 

 

  1. Copy the file template you want to make into your data folder. C:\Program Files (x86)\Caseware\Data 

 

  1. Now open up Caseware Working Papers and click rename file 

 

  

    1. Browse to the file you want to rename 

  1. Fill in the new name 

  1. N.B. You can see our best practice on naming convention here. 

  1. Tick the box to generate a new identifier 

  1. Click “Rename File”
