This is useful when for example, the application produces an error message, but there might not be an immediate crash, or the crash occurs after a while. In these cases we might request a crash dump when the message is up, in order to inspect the state of the program at that particular moment.
Answer:
1. Start Task Manager. To do this, use one of the following methods:
Right-click an empty area of the task bar, and then click Task Manager.
Press CTRL+SHIFT+ESC.
2. Click the Processes tab.
3. Right-click the name of the process that you want (cwin64.exe for Working Papers, cvwin64.exe for CaseView), and then click Create Dump File.
4. If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type your password or click Continue.
5. When you receive a message that states that the dump file was successfully created, click OK.
6. A dump file for the process is created in the following folder:
Drive:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\Temp
