Automated tests
How to use the automated tests
Click either “Execute all tests” or “Execute test” button next to each test.

Once the test has run it will fill in the date and time the test was run and indicate whether the test passed or failed. A tick indicates a test passed and a cross indicates a test failed.

If you click on the cross it will launch the results of the text files which you can use to help fix your problem

Checks if you have multiple sections with the same name.
This typically happens if you copy a section in design mode and don’t rename the section. You can delete the duplicated section and reinsert it using the super insert menu>Insert copy of existing section.
Checks if you have duplicate guides in your file.
This typically happens if you copy a section in design mode and don’t clear the guide and run add guides. You can find the duplicated guide and delete it. Once all the duplicate guides are deleted you can then go to “Options>Enable special features” and run "ADDGUIDS".
You can perform the test again to ensure that all guides have been corrected.
Checks if you have sections which are overlapping.
You can find the section in design mode and resize it so that it does not overlap with another section.
Checks if the carry forward headers are correct
You can run “enable special feature” with code “CFD2014” to fix the carry forwards.
Manual Tests
This is a list of suggested tests and is not all encompassing. These have been tested on our standard template but if you have made design mode changes then you might want to check that all these features work around your customizations.
Here you should ensure that the index page is correct in terms of numbering. All pages should have a first and last page number which prints on the index page.
Content should skip and hide as required if its group content.
The third prior year column should show/ hide depending when it’s turned on/off.
If new map numbers were created, they should be assigned a mapping tag, and the entity warning should display of you map to a company map number when on trust.
Any new tables created should align with the existing tables.
