How to create a new file when using XBRL Lite


  Instructions:

Please note: The process differs from the full template solution for SME or IFRS templates. Click here for the process on the full IFRS or SME financial statement template.

For XBRL Lite user, please follow these steps:
  • In Caseware Working Papers, select the New’ tab to create a new Caseware Working Papers engagement file.
  • Type in the filename
  • Select the XBRL Lite Template (IFRS/SME) 
  • Select Create file
  • The Engagement properties dialog will appear for you to capture the operating name and year end, click here to for more information on licensing
