Who is the Caseware Champion at my firm?
Answer:
The "Firm's Champion" is the staff responsible for rolling out the software to the users in the firm and for maintaining it on an ongoing basis. This includes updating the software and it's templates to the latest versions, managing service packs, hotfixes, product update and releases.
The firm’s champion can also monitor the support cases logged via the My Firm’s Cases page and the firm’s training via My Firm’s Training page. For more information on the permissions needed to view these pages and how to obtain these if you are the firm’s champion click here.
I am the Caseware Champion at my firm but don't have a Caseware Africa Success Community login, what do I do?
If you are responsible for managing updates and don't have a login for the Caseware Africa Success Community, click on the Login button in the top right and then Register Now.
If this is not successful contact our admin team at info@casewareafrica.com.
I am the Caseware Champion at my firm and also have a Caseware Africa Success Community login but cannot see the My Software option, What do I do?
This means your user login profile has not been assigned the relevant permission. To obtain this access your
firm's renewal contact will need to update your user permissions on the Content Management page once they have logged in. This page is available when selecting the
My Team's Information option in the drop-down menu. When clicking on the
Manage button next to the user's name, ensure that the
Download Software checkbox is ticked. This will allow the user access to the
My Software page.
What is the difference between the Renewal Contact and the Caseware Champion?
In some firm's the Renewal Contact and the Caseware Champion could be the same person. The Renewal Contact is the main contact at your firm, who deals with our Account Manager on the license renewal of the firm. It could also be your Caseware Champion or IT contact (in some instances they could be one or the same person).
If you do not know who your Renewal Contact is, your Caseware Champion or IT contact can also see this information in the Caseware Africa Success Community and update it there should the information be outdated. If they are not available or unable to update this information, or the person has left the firm recently, contact your account manager, or email info@casewareafrica.com to update the new Renewal Contact.
