How do I open a file with error “Error attempt to uncompress bad data”?
Answer:
Steps to follow:
Navigate to the location of the file.
Open up the folder and sort the contents of the folder by type
Scroll down, select the Caseware file, cut and paste it on the desktop or preferred location.
Navigate to the template folder in the local drive.
Open the template, sort the content by type, scroll down and select the Caseware file.
Copy the Caseware file and paste it on the file that is unable to open.
Right click and rename the Caseware file to the original file name
Open via Caseware.
