Audit International | FAQ | Why is document 520E not showing any risks recorded in the file?

Published:  08/08/2023
When Working in Audit International, why is document 520E not showing any risks recorded in the file?

  Answer:

When any of the Risk or Control documents are opened and they do not generate, this could be because of the script repository of the Audit International file being on the wrong version. The script repository changes versions when documents are brought into the file either through:
  • Drag & drop,
  • Copy components or
  • From the library by a user that is on a different version than the version on which the file was created.

You can use document 1.001 - CaseWare Audit Health Check tool to establish which documents are on which versions.

To fix the affected files:
  • Please make a backup of the file before starting this process.
  • Delete any Audit documents from the client file that are not on the correct version
  • Create a new blank CaseView document on the document manager
  • Open that CV document and click Tools | Repository | Manage...
  • In the Manage Repository dialog, select RESPOSITDCWCW and click Delete.
  • Close the blank CaseView document and delete it from the file
  • Click File | Copy Components and select the option to Copy Into This File.
  • In the Select Source screen, select the Audit International correct template and click Next
  • In the Copy Components screen, select only the checkbox for CaseView Repository Files. Click Next, Next, Finish.
  • The proper repository will be added into the client file

Now for the documents that was deleted, and initially copied in, copy in the correct version of that document by using the copy components function.
